Design + Installation
design proposal
Following your initial Wildscape consultation, our team will create a design for your property based on your goals and site conditions. Your design will include an itemized proposal and timeline detailing all stages of an installation. Upon approval, we can complete the installation from start to finish.
establishment + Maintenance
Wildscapes are dynamic and resilient! However, Wildscape establishment takes 3-5 years, with the first few years following installation being critical for successful establishment. To ensure the desired results of your design installation, we recommend budgeting for 3 years of “Aftercare” maintenance.
A custom “Aftercare 1” plan is included with all our design proposals to cover first year maintenance… and we welcome you to join us during these visits! When done right, you can expect maintenance to gradually reduce over time. We also offer long-term maintenance after successful establishment.
Consultation—Installation timeline
We book consultations in Summer (June 15- September 15) and Winter (December 15- March 15) off-seasons to focus on installations during ideal Spring and Fall planting times. Please book your initial consultation at least 3 months before your desired installation date as this is typically a minimum turnaround time. Very small jobs may be booked on shorter notice during off seasons. For larger jobs where we may need to grow out plant orders to ensure quantities, please expect 6-9 months of lead time between consultation and installation completion.

For full sun areas, we offer native short grass lawn installation by seed- perfect for replacing invasive Coastal Bermuda and thirsty non-native turf. These sun turf lawns are low maintenance once established, requiring less water and mowing.
For shadier areas, we offer sedge “lawns” and various groundcover lawn-alternatives from plugs.
